Test requests
When you submit the form, Etono receives your email, device platform, country or region, optional app idea and optional discovery source. We also attach the broad source category of your website visit, when available. We use these details to assess and arrange test access, respond to your request, and understand which channels bring suitable testers.
Requests are stored on our server in mainland China, are accessible only to authorized operators, and are deleted automatically after 90 days. The form does not send a marketing email or subscribe you to a mailing list. Test eligibility is confirmed separately.
Anonymous website counts
We count page views, case-request copy actions, starts of a test request, successful submissions and opens of the Google Play testing link. Counts are grouped by UTC day, page, language and broad source such as ChatGPT, Google, a social site, or direct access. These are action counts, not unique people or confirmed installs.
Our own counting service does not use cookies, local storage, fingerprinting or visitor IDs. Source information comes from an allowlisted URL parameter or the referring site’s hostname, and only the category is sent to the counting service. Internal links may carry this category so it is retained while you browse. We do not store the full referring URL, query, browsing history or IP address in the statistics database. Counts are deleted after 120 days.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, optional action counting is skipped and detected source is omitted from your request. A successfully saved request is still included in operational submission totals. Source categories and answers are not verified proof of a recommendation.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and referral channels. Google receives page paths, the referring site, browser and device information, and network information needed to receive the request. Analytics cookies can distinguish browsers and expire after 120 days. This is separate from our own aggregate counting service. Google processes this information on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country or region. We do not send test-request fields, email addresses or Etono account details to Google Analytics. The page address sent by our integration excludes query parameters and fragments, and the referring address is limited to its origin. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled, and enhanced measurement is off. Google Analytics does not load when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also block Google Analytics through your browser settings or extensions. Google privacy policy.
Security and follow-up
The website necessarily receives network information to serve pages and limit abuse. The form and counting endpoints do not keep request-body or access logs. Short-lived, salted rate-limit identifiers are held in memory for no more than one minute. Page hosting may retain security logs. Regional footer handling is described in About this website.
We do not automatically link anonymous page counts to an Etono account. If you participate in testing, an operator may record confirmed milestones such as receiving access, installation, creating a first app or returning after seven days. We do not infer these outcomes from link clicks.
